We believe that each child is uniquely created and capable of learning in a play-based environment that provides opportunity for the development of the whole child: physical, social, emotional, creative, cognitive, and spiritual.
Our Story
In 1980, several mothers from Immanuel Lutheran Church’s congregation started Son-Light Preschool for the community and their children. With prayer and much work that included research and a community assessment, the proposal was approved by the Church Council. The Preschool launched as a three day a week program and grew over time to five days. We now offer a vibrant Preschool with Extended Care hours.
